💚 Ownership Change! 💚
From Wyatt:
"When I bought GVMA in 2020, I had no idea the impact it would have on me. More than anything, I think of myself as a steward and helper of something that magically grew into something much bigger and more beautiful than I can take credit for.
I love being at the gym. But at the same time, being a solo business owner takes up a staggering amount of time and energy. Around when I started to seriously contemplate freeing up more time for myself, I met Lee and Sage, and we immediately clicked. They talked about fatigue with their own careers and a desire to pursue something fresh and new to them, and a lightbulb went off in my head. The idea of selling the gym started to grow, and it felt like once again the gym itself had magically made all the right pieces fall into place.
I can't think of a better pair to pass the torch to. They exemplify the community-first mindset that has always meant so much to me, and have the experience and vision to lead GVMA into a truly bright future.
I'm so thankful to them, the whole gym community, and excited to continue my role as a coach, student, and community member of GVMA. Oss!!!"
A little about Sage & Lee:
"Sage grew up partly in Bozeman, and was thrilled when Lee agreed to move our family here after a visit in 2024. Dropping into GVMA classes was actually what helped us make the final decision to settle here. The welcoming, friendly atmosphere at the gym put us at ease about the prospect of building a new life and helped us picture ourselves in the wider community. Sure enough, the GVMA team quickly became "our people," and we found ourselves both teaching for the gym.
When Wyatt approached us with his idea to sell the gym, we felt like the best possible version of our lives was unfolding. We are so grateful and honored to be picking up where Wyatt is setting down his role as owner of GVMA and more importantly, to become "stewards and helpers" of the community."
