Stop sacrificing your muscle for fat loss!

I’m going to move the goal posts, but it’s for your own good.

It’s no longer acceptable to sacrifice your muscle mass and function in a quick fix chase of fat loss at all cost. That’s silly.

Muscle is a vital longevity organ, and maintaining its function as you get older is nearly half the battle to staying healthy.

The other half? Maintaining muscle QUALITY and function. Essentially your power, strength and mobility capacity.

When you lose muscle mass, muscle quality goes down. And the reality? It becomes harder and harder to build back.

But here’s the good news, there’s something called body recomposition that works to trade fat for muscle and you can BOTH lose fat and gain muscle at the same time. It’s great.

Think of strategic body recomp as the best of both worlds.

In order to achieve the holy grail of body recomp, it’s pivotal that you strategically strength train 3–4x per week. Place an emphasis on well rounded training (not just bodybuilding).

And? Eat in a SLIGHT caloric deficit prioritizing protein intake.

It’s a slower moving process than crash diets for WEIGHT loss (not fat loss, remember) but it’s smart and sustainable.

This is your missing link to achieving health and longevity while also looking, feeling and functioning your best daily.

Done are the days of sacrificing muscle mass for fat loss 🙏🏼

Trust the process—but make sure it’s the right one.

Consistency beats intensity every time.

If you train 3x per week, make your third session a full-body day.

Session 1: Lower Body + Power Cardio
Session 2: Upper Body + Moderate Interval Cardio
Session 3: Dynamic Upper Body + Steady State Cardio

That setup helps you hit most muscle groups twice each week instead of just once, which is where a lot of people leave progress on the table.

And honestly, if you’re not a bodybuilder, stop copying bodybuilding-style splits.

Most people do not need a more complicated split. They need a better one.

The videos I posted are a solid example of what that third full-body day can look like.

Comment “FULL BODY” if you want to try a 1-on-1 session like this.

Deficit Kickstand RDL
More range = more glute recruitment.
More control = less compensation.

This is how you load single-leg work without turning it into a balance circus.

You get:
• Hamstrings under real tension
• Glutes doing actual work
• Hip stability that carries over

Train it heavy. Stay controlled. Earn the range.
