It's a big day at Kentucky Downs, the European-style track in southern Kentucky where you can pretend you're Sarah Palin and tell your friends that you can see Tennessee right beyond the final turn.

We're looking at three races on Also Eligible from Kentucky Downs. The Turf Sprint (Race 6) and the Turf Cup (Race 7) are both Breeders' Cup "Win and You're In). We're adding the Nashville Derby as well which is race 8.

Then we will also add the Spinaway at Saratoga, which is a "Win and You're In' For the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies.

Summer is almost over...almost! That is because it is Travers Day at The Spa! Some of the top three-year-olds will meet again in the Mid-Summer Derby going a mile and a quarter. Golden Tempo returns and faces Napoleon Solo, Renegade, Baby Vino and others in this field of 10.

We will also look at the other Breeders' Cup "Win and You're In" races as well. On the docket today:
