When I decided to stop guessing my way through my health journey… I started actually getting results.

When you attempt to go this path alone, it can leave you feeling defeated… having spent tons of time, energy, & effort… just to be left with a body you’re unhappy with. Which leads you right into the next fad diet or crazy workout plan… just to have the cycle repeat.

I went at it alone for YEARS… and grew frustrated with my lack of results. Are you in that place too?? I know how it feels, and I hate seeing other people struggle the way I did for so long.

If you’re looking to skip the messy work, and jump right into proven, results-focused action steps to improve your physical health… know that you don’t have to face this journey alone. It’s a hell of a lot harder than it needs to be when you take that approach… trust me.

WRONG.

None of these things inherently mean you had a good workout…

I used to spend all of my time running on the treadmill… sweating, breathing heavily, and pushing myself until I was about to pass out….
I THOUGHT that meant I was doing the right stuff. I would get strong, fit, & healthy…

But I was wrong. I did these things for YEARS. Trapped myself to the treadmill (I hate running by the way) because it’s what I thought would work.

I learned that you can workout every day, and not see any physical changes at all.
I learned that you can do tons of cardio… only to have your body lose all muscle tone.
I learned that you can deprive yourself of food… and still not lose any weight.

I learned the hard way that these tactics just aren’t it.

You don’t have to be like me and take the long route (actually I would highly recommend against it).

Learn from my journey… go to the gym to TRAIN. Be intentional. Get the most out of your time and energy. Get proper recovery. And EAT the dang food.

The stories you’re telling yourself have so much influence over what your life actually looks like.....

These stories are your own though... so if you’re feeling stuck.... have you taken a look at what you’re continually convincing yourself of?

Have you told yourself that you’re not good enough?
Have you told yourself that you’ve “always been this way” so therefore you can’t change?
Have you told yourself you can’t handle stress??

All of these things just STORIES. Start telling yourself different stories... and things will begin to change.

Stop wishing for your high school body to come back!!!
I used to live in the mindset that I’d get back to wearing a size 2 like I did in high school, I wanted to reverse time and get that body back.

I looked back at old pictures and thought about how much my body changed for the worse… I had learned to hate what I looked like. (the craziest part is I hated my body back in high school too… but I looked back with rose-colored glasses because it was the best physique I’d had in a long time).

But I realized that I didn’t want to go back in time. In someone else’s view my body might be ‘worse’ now… but my body has served me through all of these years, I’ve experienced life with this body. There are no regrets.

I stopped looking to my past to create goals, and began envisioning the future. I no longer had any restrictions because I wasn’t basing my potential on what was familiar to me. I got to create the exact vision that I wanted.

And the physique that I’m creating now is nothing like what I looked like in high school… I’m stronger. I’m more capable. I’ve lived more experiences. I can lift heavier weights. I feel better. I can think clearer. The list is endless…

But the reason I’m able to obtain these changes is because I stopped limiting myself to my past. I can’t reverse time… so why try to work backwards?

When you open your mind to the possibility that you can indeed develop yourself into something that currently seems insane… that’s when you’re there. That’s the mindset that allows you to achieve what you never thought was possible.

When you begin believing that you’re capable of more, that those other people you admire aren’t so different from you…. You can achieve anything you set your mind to.

My SIMPLE 3-step process to build self trust….

1. Understand what you actually DESIRE - Wants rather than needs. This requires being genuinely honest with yourself about what you actually want in life. No second guessing yourself. No doubting your desires. No fear of what others might think.

2. Set intentional steps up to move toward that desire - Getting clear on the daily steps you need to take to make progress toward these desires

3. FOLLOW THROUGH on this commitment - Setting a commitment is creating a promise to yourself that you’ll do this thing. GO DO IT.

The base of this process is that you are building trust in yourself because you’re following through on the promises you’re making to yourself… You begin to trust your own word. You know you will do what you set out to do.

Your ‘I’ll try’s... becomes ‘I will’s. You gain conviction. You gain confidence. You become the queen who rules your own life… your KINGDOM.

You have every bit of power to step into this reality… are you ready to claim your kingdom?

“I want to be more confident”

Girl, SAME. I get it, I feel it, & I work on it personally every day.

But what does confidence actually mean?

For me, I define confidence as...
✨Speaking my mind openly
✨Wearing the clothes I actually think are cute
✨Going after the lifestyle I desire without worry of judgment
✨Learning to befriend my anxiety
✨Being open and honest with my partner in all areas
✨Seeking out new friendship
✨Accepting myself for who I am in this moment
✨Having the courage to push myself to become more
✨The. List. Goes. On.

Now with that said.... that’s (a part) of what confidence means to me. I can feel it. I can visualize it. It gives me something concrete to work toward every day.

You can fully accept yourself AS IS while still continually striving for more.

People often talk about becoming their ‘best self’... but while on this self discovery/improvement/growth journey… they learn to despise who they currently are.

There’s this desire to become the BEST… which will never truly happen. There’s always more out there… more to learn, discover, experience, etc. That the ‘best’ can feel hard to attain… when is ‘enough’ enough?

The thing is… you can ALWAYS become better/more/etc.

But along the process (aka your day to day life) you can still FULLY accept yourself AS IS.

Just because you’re growing & becoming better (in whatever way you define that) doesn’t negate who you CURRENTLY are.

Embrace who you are. It is the only way you will ever feel ‘good enough’. YOU must accept YOU… at EVERY step of your process.

The bags under your eyes seem to get darker every day… you’re running on empty.

You’re fed up with facing the same struggles day after day…

You’re tired of running yourself dry with overcommitting… there’s so much you want to do, but it never feels like there’s enough time to do it all.

But you still say yes… and you don’t like breaking the commitments you make. So you wind up jumping from task to task all day long trying to keep up with everything on your plate…

Only to end the day feeling completely exhausted and unaccomplished. Another day gone by where you can’t help but imagine a day where you finally have time to relax.

You’re an overachiever… you truly believe you can do it all, but you’re continuously feeling worse from the stress & overwhelm. You’re overextending your bandwidth, yet hiding it from everyone around you… leaving you feeling burnt out and behind.

What if I told you that you don’t need to feel burnt out and tired every day…
What if I told you that you could rest, relax, and replenish your energy daily… and in turn actually get ahead on your projects?
What if I told you that having more things you want to accomplish doesn’t inherently mean you will feel more stressed??

The truth is, you’re a high performer. You constantly strive for more… but don’t always know how to get there.

Taking action doesn’t always lead to making progress… if you aren’t taking the right actions. Your time can be “busy” without it yielding you the outcomes you’re aiming for… but you’re tired of that, aren’t you??

I sure was. I was tired of spending time on things that left me in the same place. I was tired of feeling distracted trying to keep up with my ever growing task list. I was tired of being TIRED every day… never able to catch up on anything.

What you’re missing is strategy, optimization, and clarity. There are a million actions you could take, it’s time to get clarity on which ones will actually serve you to optimize your time & energy.

You have the power to make real progress - it begins with a strategy that is aligned with your vision.
