PGA Tour: The Travelers Championship at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, CT boasts an awesome field with Brooks Koepka, Patrick Reed, defending champion Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas.

PGA Tour Champions: The American Family Insurance Championship will be played at University Ridge, GC in Madison, Wisconsin.

LPGA Tour: The Ladies move to the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship in Rogers, Arkansas.

JACK GALE GOLF BLOG: Last Week in Golf

PGA Tour: Brooks Koepka successfully defended his title in the 118th United States Open Championship at Shinnecock Hills GC in Southampton, NY. Koepka became the first back to back winner since Curtis Strange accomplished this feat in 1988-89. Brooks won by a single stroke over England’s Tommy Fleetwood, who tied the US Open record with a 63. In third place another stroke back at three over was Dustin Johnson followed by Masters Champion Patrick Reed at plus four.

PGA Tour Champions: The Seniors were off last week.

LPGA Tour: So Yeon Ryu captured her sixth title when she won the Meijer LPGA Classic by two strokes over Caroline Masson. Ryu finished at twenty-one under par over seventy-two holes at Blythefield Country Club in Belmont, MI. Brittany Altomare missed the cut at even par.

JACK GALE GOLF BLOG: Last Week in Golf

PGA Tour: The FedEx St. Jude Classic at TPC Southwind, in Memphis, Tennessee had a great finish when Dustin Johnson holed his second shot on the final hole for a six shot win over Andrew Putnam. JB Holmes took home third with a nine under finish.

PGA Tour Champions: At the Principal Charity Classic at the Wakonda Club in Des Moines, Iowa, Tom Lehman finished at thirteen under for a two shot win over the foursome of Glen Day, Woody Austin, Scott Parel and Bernhard Langer. Sunday’s final round was a washout so the event became final after Saturday’s second round. Fran Quinn of Holden finished at even par, good for a tie for sixtieth.

LPGA Tour: The Ladies traveled to the ShopRite LPGA Classic at Stockton Seaview Hotel and GC in Galloway, NJ and Annie Park claimed her first LPGA win over Sakura Yokomine by a shot. Park finished at sixteen under par. Marina Alex took home third place at fourteen under par.

Web.com Tour: The Rust-Oleum Championship was played at the Ivanhoe Club in Mundelein, Illinois and Chase Wright won at seventeen under par in a playoff over Alex Pugh.
