This last weekend at Awrcs was a huge confidence booster for me. I had a great spot right on the inside everything was perfect quad fired right up and I stalled it so I ended up being the last one off the line. Made a few passes right away and was panicked. I had to talk to myself to get calm and collected. I rode smooth made a couple passes then got to a split line and went from around 9th to 3rd got passed back and came through my first lap in 4th not realizing it until I saw the board. Once I saw what place I was in and realized I was in the top group I focused and pushed hard. I lost my rear brakes on the first lap so I had to brake early for turns which worried me but I made up for it in the rough sections. I got around 3rd when he made a mistake I don't remember how I got around 2nd but when I did the guy in first had around 30 to 45 seconds on me so I just rode my hardest and started seeing the mud rolling off the berms so I knew I was close. Eventually I caught a glimpse of him off in the distance. I caught him he got stuck behind a lapper I got around him and was just trying to put as much time on him as I could without being able to slow down too good. I came through scoring in first with 18 seconds on 2nd and 5th overall in the first mile of my third I got stuck behind a lapper who stalled and thought that was going to let him catch up he gained time on me but didn't catch me got going again and managed to put some distance between us until my nerf bar snapped off and ended my race but I wasn't mad in the slightest that was the happiest I've been in a long time to be able to have come from dead last to 1st and 5th overall in two laps. I'm going to keep on tuning myself and work on getting some better parts for the quad next race I'm going to run Pro so I can try to get an overall because the bad starts from second row are killing me atleast if I get a bad start in pro I won't be getting held back behind other riders so we will see how that treats me. Huge thanks to Mr. Billy Grannis, my parents, Dirt Decalz Steven Brletrick, Backroad Imagery, as well as everyone who supports and doubts me it's all fuel to my fire I can't wait to see what the future holds for me!

Round 2 wasn't to good to me but I learned from it. I took the holeshot but quickly lost the lead in the woods when my shocks bottomed out sending my bumper into a rock that put me into a superman over the bars and took me off the track. I got off went to push it back and was in gear when I finally got going the whole A line passed me. I made some passes until I went to turn and my quad didn't want to so I got pinned between a log and another rider I didn't get going for a good couple minutes and ended up messing my back up trying to get my quad pushed back which made for a rough ride. After that I ended up stuck in a rut got set back even further and started loosing my rear brakes by the second lap my rear brakes were gone and I was cramped up bad I pulled off after my second lap because I was so far back I wasn't going to place and I didn't think it was worth hurting myself just to complete another lap I'm going to send my shocks out so I can actually ride that thing and just work on preparation I didn't even get to check tire pressure and they were solid from riding around the house so I'm going to just keep working at it one race at a time sure I have some learning to do but it won't take me long to get it

Can't thank Billy Grannis enough for setting me up with this insanely fast machine he even came all the way out to my house at 9 at night to get it running at its peak for me I'm more then thankful for the support he's given me if anyone needs well priced, quality, and quick work consider Billy G racing he needs the clientele to open a shop so if your interested in getting your machine fixed right then get ahold of me at 724-636-5015 and I will check with him to make sure he's available and has room he only does work out of his garage but he needs customers to make it worth opening a shop so try him out you certainty won't be disappointed

Round 1 of awrcs didn't go at all the way I thought it would! I decided about 3 weeks before the race I was going to run the a class thinking that I would barely be able to ride with the other riders but I could learn a lot by trying to keep up. I got to the line and got a great spot lined up right with the barel and when that flag dropped I got the worst start I've ever had it took me around 30 seconds to get my quad to finally start but when It fired up I knew I had to catch the other riders or else I wouldn't be able to find their pace. By the time I rounded the third bend I had already seen the back of my class and thats when I realized that the lead riders were pulling away from me every second so I made it a mission to work my way to the front I got a great pass on the easy hard section because the group I was stuck behind went the easy way on accident. Once I got around them I was passing people what felt like every 5 minutes I couldn't believe it I kept thinking that the other riders had to have been having a bad run I even passed a pro am rider throughout my first lap I quickly realized that I have a lot strength training to do in my upper body but didn't let it slow me down I passed 2 more of the a riders after that and about a mile before my pit my plastics came loose (my fault) I worked my way back to the pits trying not to jump or hit nothing too hard because the side that came loose had my key in it got back to the pit and took about 2 minutes to get the key out plastics off and reposition the key I took off got into the woods on my second lap and felt the quad bogging in the top got it back to my pit and found out it sucked in dirt so that ended my race but it was far from a loss I learned a lot about where my speed is at and decided I'm going to be running the pro am class for the rest of this year!
Huge thanks to my dad and mom for getting me everything necessary leading up to this and I'd really like to thank Billy G racing for his great work that is very affordable all the problems I had on the track were from what I did to the machine at home I've never had more reliable work so if your tired of your machine busting every other race stopping you from showing people what your really about give billy a call 724-761-0497 thank you to everyone who cheers me on takes pictures and even those who doubt me I can not wait for the next one

Went and raced the cra race today to warm up for the upcoming season ran money class got a decent start was able to hold with the leaders for the first two laps until that beast of a motor built by Billy G Racing lifted the front wheels just enough to make me clip a tree and kick sideways it took me a good 30-45 seconds before I got going again and I pretty much knew that without being right behind the leaders I wasn't going to be able to catch back up before the race had started I was able to pass the two A riders that passed me when I was stopped and finished 3rd in money class and 4th overall. Kinda sucks that they didn't pay their top three riders only top two and didn't give out tropies to the money class but every other class, I won't be going back to race with them again but I am very exited to see that my training has benefitted me so well over the winter and I'm anxious to see how I place at awrcs where I will be running qxc-1 this year!

Round 10 of awrcs went much better then I had thought it did I raced in qxc-3 to get the feel for the class since I was going to run for the qxc-3 championship next season. The 2nd row in front of me took off and I had my quad ready to start and when the row in front of me went I fired it up. The flag went up for my row and the quad didn't start as I figured but within about 5 kicks it was going I was last of the line but passed about 20 riders in a bottleneck right in the first turn and was just making non stop passes. About half way through the first lap the group In front of me started to slow down for a bottle neck and I cut right and went up the hill around it without thinking one second about it and made the pass for first right there not knowing that was the first 6 riders in my class I was stuck behind.dalL Coming through scoring my transponder read as if I was running qxc-2, 4 rows ahead of where I actually started. It said I was in 13th and I believed it because I started last and it felt like I could have gone faster but I didn't know where the kickers were so that slowed me down. But I kept pushing through to the end trying to get to first and managed to finish 26th overall and 1rst in qxc-3. (7th in qxc-2)

I would like to thank my mom and dad for giving me all the support needed the krause family and Hetrick Racing

Went and raced ironman gncc this past weekend and had the best race so far on my new trx off the start the quad fired right up and I was a off to a good start. The first couple turns were a bit rough until I figured out how the other kids ride. We hit the woods and I knew that the top 5 kids had to be pulling away as I was stuck behind other riders. We eventually got into a bottleneck and I was able to get around the whole group I was trapped behind. After that I was hammer down until the finish with only three small hold ups. The first hold up was because of a spectator not getting the hint that if a quad is flying up a hill towards you and your in the middle of the trail you should move. Then just before I came through scoring for my third lap I cased a jump pretty hard and put my top teeth through my lower lip but didn't let it slow me down I kept pushing through to the finish hoping to hold 5th place and when I rolled it I thought that it was over but got it back going and finished 5th in class out of 42 and 98th out of 457 overall earning my first gncc plaque!
