Today is the day! If you need shells I will have plenty with me. So if you really get to hammering the birds or your buddy shoots all of his up and starts digging too deep into your bag, you know who to call.

It’s hard to believe that it’s already September and that Dove season will be here in just over 48 hours. We still have 12 gauge and 20 gauge shells in stock. $110/case tax included. All shells are 2-3/4” low brass 7.5s, 12 gauge are 1-1/8oz and 20 gauge are 7/8oz. We have stools as well!

Also, we have a couple of sh****ns in stock: those being a Wi******er SX4 12 gauge (3.5” chamber) Waterfowl Hunter in Realtree Max 7 and a R***y Gridion 20 gauge (3” chamber). Both of these are very reliable and affordable semi auto sh****ns. The SX4 is $1050 plus tax, the Gridion is $875 plus tax.

We will be in and around Alexandria tomorrow and Friday. I will be open and ready for business until 10pm on Friday and then starting at 5:00 am again Saturday.

****Last and certainly not least; this weekend is a sales tax free weekend for all 2A items, ammo, optics, and hunting gear in general. This applies not just to items in inventory but items ordered as well. So if you’re wanting to purchase a new 2A item, make a bulk ammo order, get that new scope or pair of binoculars; whatever it may be, get with me and we can get it ordered between Friday 9/4/26 and Sunday 9/6/26 to make sure you take full advantage of the tax free holiday. *****

This time next week we will be getting ready for opening morning of Dove season! We still have cases of shells in stock: 12 gauge & 20 gauge, 2-3/4” #7.5s 1-1/4 oz for 12 gauge and 7/8oz for 20. $110 tax included. We accept cash or Venmo currently, we may be set up by next weekend to take payments via credit or debit cards.

I’ll have shells with me in Alexandria all next week in order to provide another convenient option for purchasing. If you need some other accommodation get with me (pm or 318-715-1623) and we will see what we can figure out.

Opening Day:
Currently it is my intention to be ready to sell at 5:30am that morning to accommodate those who may need to buy shells last minute. Given I still have inventory. I will continue to update as we get closer.

Dove season is rapidly approaching! Just a couple of more weeks! We still have plenty of 12 gauge and 20 gauge shells. 2-3/4” 7.5s. 1-1/8 oz for 12 and 7/8oz for 20. I’m going to be unavailable from this Friday 8/21- Monday 8/24, so if you’re thinking about shooting some clay pigeons this weekend to get ready and need shells get with me by Thursday evening.

September 5th is only a few weeks away! We still have plenty of 12 gauge and 20 gauge shells in stock along with stools. Shells are Rio Wing & Target 2-3/4” #7.5s. 12 gauge are 1-1/4 oz 20 are 7/8oz.
$110 a case for either (includes sales tax!)

Folding stools are $32.50 each (includes sales tax!)

Too hot to enjoy much of anything outdoors so we are inside preparing for cooler days. Loaded up a batch of ammo for the BAR that has been showcased here in prior posts. Hopefully in a few months we’ll be able to post real world results.

Don’t let September sneak up on you like going back to school is about to sneak up on everyone! We have dove shells 12 & 20 gauge in stock along with stools.

Those of you who have contacted me about shells I will start getting those dropped off to you or arranging meet ups this week.

We are in the dog days of summer now and it’s entirely too hot outside to enjoy much of anything outdoors.

I was able to find a shady spot to shoot Saturday afternoon so I checked the loads I put together for the BAR that I have mentioned on here before. With a 140 grain Sierra GameKing HPBT the BAR liked H4831SC the best. Yesterday, I went ahead and resized and de-primed the fired rounds and now I am checking length and sorting out cases that exceed the maximum book length, they are to be trimmed another day.

Dove season is rapidly approaching! We have plenty of shells (12 gauge and 20 gauge) and stools in inventory. Please contact me to arrange pickup or meetup, if you haven’t already!
