What a great turnout at Rapid City Youth Boxing Club 's Iron Sharpens Iron event. Some of our South Dakota Battle of the Badges fighters came out to spar with local youth fighters. Eric with Meraki Box and Henry (Coach Mike W.) climbed into the ring and sparred with several of the talented fighters from South and North Dakota who are preparing for Nationals and Golden Gloves.

Battle of the Badge Fans...Due to overwhelming support from the community for our local heroes, we sold out all our online tickets for General Admission. We will be selling a limited number of STANDING ROOM ONLY tickets at the door.

Additionally, we will have two VIP tables we can sell at the door.

🚨 BREAKING NEWS 🚨

Early last week, for unknown reasons, Air Force Veteran and dedicated Meraki Box member Eric Davis' opponent was unable to fight and was removed from the fight card for Saturday, Jan 12. Meraki Box and the BOTB Team reached out to veterans, first responders, and gyms in four states to find him a USA Boxing qualified opponent, without success. Well, we were beyond relieved when Rockwell Peterson, Meraki Box member and friend to Eric, agreed to step into the ring and challenge Eric. FANS...Eric is back!!! Thank you Rockwell 💪

TONIGHT...come meet your local heroes and their challengers at The Park - Rapid City at the Battle of the Badges weigh-in event. We will introduce all our fighters and amazing faceoffs for photos and just a little intimidation 🤜🤛

After the weigh-in, The Park 707 welcomes back Stereo Trip and a special performance by Rooted Souls. For the weigh-in, doors open at 6 PM with the first faceoff at 7 PM. We will be completed at 8: 30 PM for the concert. Free admission for our weigh-in event and concert.

*Concert must be 21+ over!
