Drumroll please....
The 2026 Double's League Season will begin on Thursday, June 11.

But before we get that rolling let's celebrate the 2025 WINNERS

We had two levels of play for the year.
Players are placed in their group based on the first week scramble scores and a handicap is established.

Fun in the Sun Level Runner Up - Jamie and Troy Svihovec

We have the sign up sheet in the clubhouse for the 2026 Season. $40 per team for the season.
Pin Prize Sponsors for the year is Frontier Travel Center!

We welcome new teams and would love to see more golfers join the league. Teams can be formed with male/female combination or female/female groups.

Course Update and Information
Friday, June 5, 2026

This crew is doing some work to improve our greens.

We apologize the work is taking place on a Friday; however, with our crew members and their schedules we need to take care of these tasks when we have additional help.

All greens will be impacted by the interseeding process. Hole 1 will be the most affected by the interseeding and work done. Please be patient and understanding of the need for these processes.

2026 Super Region Champions
Sweet Water’s very own…
Bowman County Bulldogs!

Anyone who spends time at Sweet Water knows these boys are out playing rounds day in and day out!

Congratulations on a great day at Bully Pulpit!

Dylan Hedge and Zak Njos tied for first and were given Co-Medalist Titles for the Suoer Region.

What is a Super Region?
There were 25 schools with 143 golfers playing for four team spots and 20 individual spots to the State Class B tournament.

I am sure they will be on the course again tomorrow. When you see them, give them a high five!

We are as ready as we can be!!

Course is waking up.
Greens are mowed.
Carts are in a row!

Dust off your clubs and head to the course to get your membership settled and a round or two in for the year!

Krystal will be out today and she is happy to help with memberships and any questions you may have.

Looking forward to a fantastic year.

It has been windy and cold the last couple days at Sweet Water. The Bowman County Bulldogs are out getting in shape and getting set for the busy month of May with meets, meets and more meets. Weather pending... of course!

Brad and Butch have been BUSY busy getting things going on the course this week. The cups are in and fairways are cut. We will be patient as the course comes back to life and these two men help her along this spring. Thank you Brad and Butch!

Brad and Butch will be working to keep our course in shape this summer, but we are still seeking additional help.
--Seeking YOUTH (age 16+) and/or ADULTS interested in some hours helping maintain the golf course this summer.

Thank you to a couple of our Bulldog Boys for raking the bunkers on hole 8. Looking good!

The season is upon us!
We are working on sending the electronic version of the Newsletter out TODAY... Saturday, April 11.
We are making a list of people we believe will want/need a paper USPS Snail Mail copy and will get those mailed out early next week. Watch the email you listed in your contact info for the newsletter.

The course is not officially ready to go at this time. Cups are not placed yet, tee boxes are still waiting for first cut, and we do not have carts out for rent. People are welcome to walk the course at this time using last falls temporary cups placed by Jacob and Nate. We will miss them dearly, as they have moved to the eastern part of North Dakota.

We continue our search for grounds crew this summer. If you would like more information, contact any of the board members. They are listed on the newsletter below.
