What: 2026 Caramel Apple Ride
When: Saturday after Labor Day September 12 8am
Where: NW corner Stearns County Fair Gounds at 1000 Ash Street South Sauk Centre, MN
Why: To enjoy a great ride on the Lake Wobegon Trail!

You can choose to ride from Sauk Centre to Melrose, West Union and Osakis and back.

After the ride you can take part in the Taste of Osakis event in Osakis too! Here's a link to Facebook for more information:

There are all kinds of activities going on in Osakis so you can enjoy a fun bike ride and enjoy a fun event in Osakis after the ride. Lots of craft booths, games and live music headlined by Montgomery Gentry and featuring Eddie Montgomery!

So a great day to be enjoyed on the Lake Wobegon Trails and a fun community event in Osakis too! Come and Join the fun!!

We are in need of additional active board members to help manage the Lake Wobegon Trails Association. I have been involved with the association since the early 2000s and plan to retire by November 15th, 2024.

We are a great organization! The organization’s mission is to promote the Lake Wobegon Trails, the communities and businesses along the trails and to support Stearns County Parks in their efforts to maintain and improve the trails.

We have 3 successful events that have been around for a long time. The Caramel Roll Ride has been around for 25 years, and the Lady Slipper Nature Ride and the Caramel Apple Rides have been around for 13 years each. Please check it out and see how you can be a part of the trails association.
