Centered returns this Thursday at 6 pm at the Fellowship House at the Greenwood Campus! When we get too focused on the tasks in front of us, we end up disconnecting from ourselves. When we disconnect from ourselves, we disconnect from our Creator. Centered is a chance to slow down and reconnect with the God that breathes life into us.

This month Jenna Murph will be guiding us to “release, restore, and remember”. Together we will experience a technique to release stuck points (old stories, wounds, hurts, and traumas from the past), and the energy surrounding them in the physical body that hold us back keeping us stuck in old patterns.

Come in comfortable clothes. The session includes meditation, movement, music, breath and essential oils—all of which are just invitations.

Get CENTERED this Thursday!

When we get too focused on the tasks in front of us, we end up disconnecting from ourselves. When we disconnect from ourselves, we disconnect from our Creator. Centered is a chance to slow down and reconnect with the God that breathes life into us. Through tools like grounding, intentional breath work, guided meditations and other mindful practices, you’ll have the opportunity meet Jesus in unique ways that you can carry with you in your day to day life, so you can live in a disconnected world more connected to yourself and your Creator. Join us this Thursday at 6pm in the Greenwood Campus Sanctuary to slow down, reconnect and get Centered.

*NEW OPPORTUNITY* God has given us the gift of practices that can help find a sense of calm and focus as we move through our lives with Him. However, it can feel hard to find time to fit these practices into our busy schedules, and we might not feel like we really know what we are doing when we try to engage in them.

CENTERED is a monthly opportunity to build these life-giving practices into your schedule. Each 4th Thursday at 6 pm at the Broadway UMC's Greenwood Campus, you are invited to come and be guided step by step through a practice.

We will kick off on October 26. All are welcome. No exceptions.

Our closing speaker this year for Embrace is Karen Nelson, who will be joining us virtually all the way from Iowa!

Karen is a faithful follower of Christ and a life-long church member. She is an ordained Elder in the Iowa UMC. Karen is a two-time graduate of University of Dubuque Theological Seminary (UDTS) receiving her Master of Divinity and her Doctor of Ministry.
Karen has been trained as a clergy coach and spiritual director.
Karen is passionate about the church, and it is her desire that all know they are loved by God.
