Nutrien Ag Solutions at Bowling Green MO - Vera is looking to bring a new fulltime Delivery Driver/Warehouse Helper or part-time Driver.

Main Job Duties:
-Deliver to farmers within a 150mile radius of Bowling Green MO, home every night
-Primarily drive a 13speed KW900 box truck or semi with airbrakes
-Class A CDL required with Tankers/Hazmat endorsement preferred. Will have to obtain if you don't have
-Bring a positive helpful attitude to work everyday and prioritize safety
-Uniforms and 1 pair of boots a year provided
-Busy season generally from March-July

Although the cold is moving in, but it’s starting to feel like spring 2021 is coming quick around here! Friday we received our first round of Loveland Products Adjuvants! Adjuvants are used to enhance the performance of the pesticides sprayed in row crops by modifying the spray solutions properties like spreading, penetrating, and droplet size. On this haul we received Choice Weather Master, LI 700, and (not pictured) Liberate.

This morning we received our first of many loads of bulk chemical for winter fill! We have 40 bulk chemical tanks at our location holding over 230,000gal of liquid pesticides used in row crop farming. This load of chemical happens to be Trivapro which is a fungicide manufactured by Syngenta used primarily on corn and soybeans in our region to promote plant health and fight plant diseases.

Our boys have been working hard over the past couple weeks giving our soybean seed pods a much needed facelift. We have 64 of these pods that we deliver to growers farms every year, they are a great resource to hold a lot of seed without having to deal with boxes and mini-bulk bags!

This morning our first load of seed for the 2021 growing season showed up. By the end of next month our 100’x264’ seed shed will be packed full of all the brands of seed we sell out of this location!

Yesterday we took the opportunity to fire up our seed treater for the first time this year to make sure it was dialed in for the busy season. Seed treatment has become a powerful and fairly inexpensive tool in the agricultural industry in recent years. Treatment on seed reduces disease infections and protects the seed from insects, which result in more uniform plant stands, less incidence of replant situations, better yield potential, and ultimately increase ROI. With combines beginning to fire up across the entire Central Corn Belt this week, we would like to wish all farmers a safe and healthy harvest! This morning we were able to help one of our growers calibrate his yield monitor with our weight wagon. It is important to have a calibrated monitor throughout harvest to ensure the data collected is accurate. Once harvest is over and it is time to sit down and start planning for the next spring, growers can easily pull their yield data and see what acres were productive and which acre they might need to change something up on.

On Monday, we donated 50,000 dollars to the American Red Cross for flood relief. We hope everyone recovers quickly and can get back to their everyday lives!
