Busy couple of weeks for the KTS team. For the past two weeks, we took on a new project: running the practice court operations for two professional tennis tournaments.

The Lexington Open held back to back 75-point tournaments, first with a W75 for the women followed by an ATP Challenger 75 for the men.

In addition, Evan took the lead as Referee for the Ryan Holder Memorial during the middle weekend, managing a crew of 10 officials. The Holder is a USTA Level 5 Open and one of the biggest tennis events in the state. This years event welcomed almost 250 players from around the country, with kids coming from as far as California to play.

Fun match-play event for players of all levels at Lexington Tennis Club next Friday! We use a combined rating for partners to flight into groups. Everyone gets three short-format matches against competition close to your level. It is co-ed and open to adults and juniors. Don't have to be a member to play (no guest fees).

What a GREAT weekend in Bowling Green! We had a phenomenal turnout for our first-ever USTA Level 5 event in Southern Kentucky! With more than 60 competitors from across the country, we had two and a half days of absolutely incredible tennis. We attracted incredibly strong draws this weekend, raising the level of competition at Level 5's. Congrats to our Champions and Finalists for all three divisions:

Exciting things are happening for youth tennis in Southern Kentucky!As we announced at Kentucky Tennis Weekend, USTA Kentucky has awarded our bid for the 2026 Level 5 Dominant Duo. The first I65 Dominant Duo will be held in May and October of this year, as Bowling Green will be host to 256 advanced junior players across all ages and genders.

Our first event will be held on the weekend of May 08-10, hosting the Boys and Girls U12 and U14 divisions (16s and 18s in October). We've already received a tremendous amount of support for this endeavor, and look forward to making this a premier event for Bowling Green, Kentucky, and the USTA Southern section!

We're now looking for volunteers and community partners to help make this weekend a success for our local players and guests coming in from around the country.
