We are incredibly excited to share that Brian Bosse has been selected as the recipient of the 2026 Nat Love Scholarship!
While Brian’s accomplishments in the pool speak for themselves, this recognition is especially meaningful because of everything he has given to RACE Aquatics during his more than eight years with our team.
Brian has grown from one of our younger swimmers into a leader our athletes look up to. He is the teammate you hear cheering from the end of the pool, celebrating others’ successes as enthusiastically as his own. When someone has a disappointing swim, Brian is often one of the first people there helping them shake it off and get ready for the next one.
Brian has represented RACE at high levels of our sport, earning multiple Sectionals and Futures cuts, competing at Sectionals three times and Futures once, and earning High Point at the Kentucky Short Course State Championship. Through all of that success, he has remained invested in his teammates and the success of Race as a whole.
Outside the pool, Brian graduated with more than a 3.5 GPA while completing eight college level courses. He has also been an accomplished musician and leader in the South Warren band program, receiving the John Philip Sousa Band Award, the program’s highest honor.
This fall, Brian will attend Valparaiso University, where he will study Music Performance and continue his swimming career as a member of the Valpo Swim Team.
Brian, thank you for the countless hours you have spent representing Race, but even more importantly, thank you for what you have poured back into this team. The encouragement you’ve given, the example you’ve set, and the relationships you’ve built will be part of your legacy here long after your final Race swim.
Please join us in congratulating Brian, our 2026 Nat Love Scholarship recipient!
We can’t wait to see what comes next for you. Congratulations, Brian!
