Southern KY MTB Southern KY MTB is a 5th-12th grade XC mountain bike team in Bowling Green, KY

The Warren County Composite Mountain Bike team is a 6th-12th grade, boys and girls mountain bike team located in Bowling Green, KY. We have no bench, no tryouts and parents can join the team as a coach and ride alongside their kids. The team has placed top 5 in the state in the past two seasons in KICL and is nationally affiliated with NICA. Our motto is strong minds, bodies and community through cross-country mountain biking.

While our Highschoolers were climbing Joppa Ridge Road the Middleschoolers were checking out ole Herc the train that used to take visitors from Park City, KY to the Mammoth Cave Lodge. Great 9 mile ride tonight. It's awesome having a national Park in your back yard!

We didn't get any pics but we came in strong and got Highlander trail and park cleaned up! 23 volunteers put in a combined 64 hours of TTC time in today chainsawing, lopping, blowing and mowing so KICL can have a great 1st race of the 2026 season!

Even though the trail is red as long as it's not raining we will have the first practice of the season today at Weldon Peete Park at 5:30pm. Come out for skill drills, OTB games and meeting new folks in the grass and in the lot. Cya then!

Our first practice of the season tonight @ 5:30 at Phil Moore Park is canceled. It's just too slick and wet to have a safe beneficial practice.

Well see you at Low Hollow/Weldon Peete at 5:30pm on Thurs 9th instead.

Coach Philipp will have a parents meeting so plan to attend and spend tonight getting your bikes and equipment prepared for Thurs! đŸ˜„
