Bull Pen Professional Wrestling was founded in March 2024 by Barry "Bull" Buchanan, a renowned American professional wrestler known for appearing in the World Wrestling Federation/Entertainment (WWF/WWE). Buchanan has also competed in All Japan Pro Wrestling (AJPW) and Pro Wrestling Noah (NOAH) as simply Buchanan. His career highlights include being a former WWF World Tag Team Champion, All Asia Tag Team Champion, GHC Tag Team Champion, and USWA World Tag Team Champion.
