Dear students and parents:
This year we have all thrived when we had to overcome new obstacles that we faced. Whether it be Covid, illness, death, new addition (horse or human), conflict with sports or finally able to skip town for a vaca. I am so thankful for parents being so flexible with me, as I know it's a two way street, as we all know, life happens. This being said, everyone knows I have been working toward my elementary education degree so I can become a teacher and have a full time career. I bartended for 11 years, took the last two off to finish school and now here we are. I have been placed in a school for the fall, but I also want to be apart of what it's like to start a year and prepare a classroom over summer. This means things may come up over summer, and starting September I am teaching for a consecutive 12 weeks to graduate. I am very excited to start my new life as a day time teacher, evening trainer and summer "horse show-er." I am not going to lie, I have NO IDEA what it's going to be like starting September, but I hope and pray all my amazing parents and students will be patient with me as things will shift and change often starting now through December. I do not want to miss out on any opportunities to learn and if my host teacher wants to include me, I want to be there, so I will try my best to keep informed, keep updated, stay awake and stay focused as there is nothing I want more than the horse show industry to thrive, and it cannot survive without upcoming youth.
Sincerely,
whatever you need me to be in the horse industry:
Tabitha
