After two hard-fought wins on day one of the World Tournament of Historic Baseball, Bovina moves on to face the Columbus Capitals tomorrow at 11am. Winner plays for all the marbles. To bats!

Two fine matches in the books against our friends from the Polecats Vintage Base Ball Club - feat. The Hamden Nine! Many thanks to our friends, families, and fans who made the day a special one. Bovina came out on top in both ends of the double header.

Next up, the Dairymen travel to Detroit Rock City this weekend, to play in the World Tournament of 1867 Historic Base Ball held every year at The Henry Ford.

TIME CHANGE**
This weekend's vintage base ball games in Bovina will be held between the Polecats Vintage Base Ball Club - feat. The Hamden Nine and the Bovina Dairymen beginning at 2pm. Due to a third team who was scheduled to play not being bale to make the trip, the Polecats and Dairymen will play two 7-inning games beginning at 2pm at Bovina's Creamery Park.

Admission is always free.

What a beautiful day for base ball with our friendly foes from the Kingston Guards Vintage Base Ball Club. Both games saw Bovina jump out to early leads, while Kingston's efforts to claw back were hampered by a crisp Dairymen defense that turned five double plays on the day.

Bovina went on to win both games, with every Dairymen hitting safely in each game. Devin "Wagon" Truman led the way for Bovina with eight hits on the day.

Bovina plays next on Friday, June 12, 5:30pm at the Rhinebeck Aerodrome against the Kingston Guards, and again on June 20/21 at the New England Base Ball Festival hosted by our friends from the Westfield Wheelmen Vintage Base Ball Club.
