When push comes to shove- Cover, counter and escape.

In a self defense situation, your job is to get away “. You should train with the intention to only to do enough damage if needed to escape safely. As a woman, you are not expected to go toe to toe and defeat your larger attacker. Just to do enough damage to escape or retrieve your weapon so that you have the advantage to escape.

Tuesday night 6pm is our practical self defense class. Nothing fancy. Techniques, concepts and drills to make you a Hard Target.

Slaps, hacks and hammer fists. This little “old lady” started with is a few weeks ago for her first foray into combat arts. Striking, grappling and self defense. Full charge into her fitness and now self protection with martial arts.

Having some fun last Tuesday night! Equal chance of obtaining a weapon or two weapons presented. You must either successfully obtain weapon to protect yourself, preventing opponent from retrieving weapon and fight empty hands or defeat/escape armed opponents.

I dont have the video of just the knife present in which at distance you can evade and run. With a gun, you must close the distance and control the gun unless you can safely find cover.

Tuesday night 6pm self defense. Beginner and women friendly. Practical real world self defense/protection techniques.

Sometimes in jiu jitsu class we will throw a weapon near mid grapple to raise the stakes and create something more dynamic other than just a grappling match.
