Due to rehearsal week, the studio is closed. BUT DON’T WORRY! You can still purchase tickets for our Recital this weekend before the show starts at the doors.

Rehearsals are this week at the Kankakee High-school. -Reminder that the studio will be CLOSED all week.

Meet Kalynn Paschall

In honor of Kalynn Senior Year, we asked her a couple of questions about herself.
We are sad to see her go but excited for her future.

School: BBCHS

Years at Starlight: 13

Favorite genre of dance: contemporary

Favorite SDA Memory: when we used to do the comp team sleepovers!

Future Plans: NIU to major in early childhood/elementary education and then become a teacher!

Something I will miss: my team 💕

Advice for younger Dancers: dont be afraid to talk to other dancers if you need help, advice, or just a friend! i found my best friend by doing that, and it doesn't hurt to get close with the people you dance with all the time!!

Meet Emily Baker

In honor of Emily’s Senior Year, we asked her a couple of questions about herself.
She will be truly missed!

High School: BBCHS

Years at Starlight: 4

Favorite genre of dance: Ballet

Favorite SDA Memory: Becoming a part of the competitive team. It taught me what true teamwork means and showed me who my best friends truly are.

Future Plans: Going to university of St. Francis for business analytics and dancing competitively on their dance team.

Something I will miss: Long nights with all my best friends.

Advice for younger Dancers: Always push yourself, there’s always more to learn.
