10 years ago, I followed a dream and took a leap and bought a gym. I never imagined how many lives—and my own—would be shaped by this adventure. What an amazing journey it has been. I mean, we even endured an epic worldwide shutdown together.

With an enormous amount of emotions flowing through me, I have decided to close this chapter of my life and have sold the gym.

This wasn’t an easy decision. I’ve had many sleepless nights going back and forth as I sought what was best for the gym and also my family. But over the last few weeks, I have been filled with peace about the decision. I know it’s right for my family, but I also know it’s the best decision for the gym.

I’m grateful to introduce Katy Heddens (pictured here with me), who will be carrying this gym forward. I know it’s in good hands. She has been a mentor, friend, and example to me over the last 10 years with the business. I’m excited to see how it continues to grow and bless the lives of so many.

Thank you to every athlete, parent, and coach who has been part of this journey. This place was never just about gymnastics—it was about family. MWGA will always remain a huge part of my life. ❤️🖤🤍
