Words can not describe how proud I am of these athletes and their hard work. Today we took 1st in the Massachusetts Wrestling Association Middle School championships!

Great job everyone today at the South/west sectionals. 2nd place as a team in the middle school division with 3 champions. Keep working hard and good things will come.

On Saturday, January 18th we are hosting a regional youth tournament through USA Wrestling. Wrestling will start at 10:00 am and end around 3:30 pm.This is called the Beauty and the Beast Wrestling invitational.Our Providence Middle School wrestlers will be competing along with many other youth wrestling clubs all over Rhode Island. We are also expecting to have youth wrestlers from CT, MA,VT, NH, ME and NY!

Great weekend for these boys. Took third yesterday at the Meriden duals. Went 2-1 with wins over Somers CT and Meriden CT and a loss to Newtown CT. Today they finished 3-2 at the Bound Brook New Jersey Duals and won the Bronze pool. Win 63-21 over Bound Brook NJ , Win 49-24 over Highland Park , and 39-36 over Danbury CT. Losses today to Phillipsburg NJ 54-33 and 42-39 to West Orange NJ. So proud of the team effort by all. Back to the grind tomorrow. @ Bound Brook, New Jersey
