We are offering a new 8-week young womens training program. The previous one was super successful, which finished last week. Anyone with girls aged 13 to 15 Body Balance's owner Silvana Busch and Friday Physical therapy's Allyson Friday are leading this wonderful class. These young women learn basics of lifting, meditation, and yoga from 5 to 6:15 on Wednesdays starting April 1st and finishing Weds May 27t.

Pause reps and 70lbs overhead presses. Not bad for a 55 yr old gym rat. Some days your the hammer and some days your the nail. I was out last week due to a cold so it felt good to be able to put the 70s overhead.

Putting in the work with some belt squats and rdls.
Belt squats take the load off your spine and crush the quads especially if you keep the exercise loaded and don't fully extend and rest at the top.

I decided to track how much weight I lift during the day. I saw 8 clients today plus my workout. I only counted loading and unloading as well as loading my bar for my workout. Not unloading. So here's my total. 3327lbs in 1 day.

One of the benchmarks in the strength world is being able to bench press your body weight. I've been managing some health issues for the last year and have backed off on the weights. I'm trying not to tax my system too much. But this press is 235lbs. So I can check that off my list
