Good on Lyons! Now, will the County listen??

On June 15, 2026, the Lyons Board of Trustees unanimously passed a resolution opposing the Boulder County Parks & Open Space Alternating Trail Use Pilot Project. The Lyons community has been very vocal about how any trail restrictions will affect their community and business.

Let your elected Boulder County commissioners know this bike ban stinks! Also, swing by Redstone Cyclery in Lyons, CO and give Dave Chase a hi-five for leading the charge against this nonsense. Probably buy a t-shirt while you're at it, too....

Oliver at keeps hittin’ dingers over the fence! Rick’s 2013 Colnago Master back from a pearlescent spa treatment, reborn with a fresh Campagnolo SR12 kit and hand built wheels. Wheels are White T11 hubs with Enduro XD-15 bearing laced to DT rims with DT spokes. This was a fun one! Enjoy, Rick!!
