Colorado Ski Racing

Colorado Ski Racing A student-run organization at the University of Colorado. We participate in the USCSA alpine league, designed for racers of all levels.

Our athletes range from 50 point FIS racers all the way to first time ski racers. Since around 1950 the University of Colorado has not only had a NCAA Varsity Alpine Ski Team, but also a secondary or Development team (as it used to be named). Although this secondary program existed under some structure, it wasn't until the fall of 1999 that it truly formed into a high-level ski racing experience for the students of this University. Perhaps the biggest change in '99 was incorporating this program into the USCSA (United States Collegiate Ski Association). This step allowed the athletes to get a real feel for team college competition as opposed to only racing individually at certain USSA and FIS sanctioned events. Within these past 12 years, the program has grown from 14 athletes to 60+ for this upcoming season. We have won the USCSA Rocky Mountain Conference for 10 consecutive years and won the overall title at the 2003 and 2008 Western Regional Championships. This season (2011-2012) Western Regionals will be held in Steamboat Springs, CO Feb.23-25 2012.

OUR 2023-24 IKON PASS DISCOUNT IS LIVE‼️

Even though this season feels like it just ended, it’s never too early to start thinking about next season! Right now is the cheapest the pass will be all season, so make sure to secure it through the link in our bio. Our team crushed it at regionals and our ladies ended up getting second place overall!🥈 Shoutout to all the volunteers who made this race and the rest of season an amazing experience for all our athletes! We would also like to thank everyone who donated to the team, as this season would not have been possible without your continuous support!

We finished our regular race season strong this past weekend at Loveland! On the girls side, we had many athletes in the top 10 with Levyn🥇and Kendra🥉 podiuming in slalom and Jenna🥉 podiuming in GS. The guys side also took home some medals, with Carson🥇 and Trey🥉 podiuming in slalom and Carson🥈 podiuming in GS. We also received conference awards this weekend, and both our teams took home 1st place titles! Huge congrats to everyone on such an amazing regular season :) Next stop: regionals🤠

We traveled up to Keystone this past weekend for our third race of the season! We skied slalom both days and absolutely slayed the boots and the house down🤠.
