What a week in the high country! Huge congratulations to all the APEX Performance athletes, coaches, and friends who pushed their limits and ripped some of the finest singletrack in the country at Aug 9-14, 2026 ! We’re so proud of everyone who took on the challenge and gave it their all out there.

Did you spot 🐄 coaches Neal Henderson & Andrea Dvorak on top of French pass? They played a little game of lactate or lactose 😂 some riders voluntarily wanted to get poked while others opted for chocolate milk. It was cool to see what people’s lactate samples were at while summiting 12,500ft. Ali O'Donnell had the highest reading on the day at 8.8mmol/L - crazy!! Science is fascinating 🧐

Coach Leah Van der Linden took 2nd overall with solid riding all week!

Also - a massive thank you to those who joined us over the past few months at the breck epic community ride series. You all brought amazing energy and hope it helped your success during race week. Stay tuned for more events like this coming your way! Big shoutout to Semplice Cafe for the coffee, muffins, and burritos pre/post ride - you made the rides that much better so thank you 😊

Hey Aug 9-14, 2026 racers! Coaches Andrea Dvorak & Neal Henderson will be at the top of French Pass on Tuesday’s Circumnavigation of Mt Guyot stage with a Prick or Treat surprise…Lactate or lactose!!!

The person with the highest lactate concentration will win a free FUEL test to determine their fueling needs!

Aug 9-14, 2026 Community Ride #4✌🏼✌🏼with APEX Performance is here this weekend! We’ve had some solid showings the past three rides and we’ve had some fun; don’t let me down on the last one! If you’ve been at every one of these, there may just be a little prize for you too 🪎

📆 When: THIS Sunday, July 26
☕️ Meeting spot: Semplice Cafe 8:45am coffee & treats
🚵🏼‍♀️ Ride starts: 9:30am ROLL OUT!

The Breck Epic is a beast—don’t tackle it alone. We’re hosting a 4-part Community Ride Series to get you dialed for August. From Boulder local loops to Breck high-altitude recons, come meet this awesome community and ride with our APEX coaches (champs & finishers alike 😉)

☕ Morning coffee & snacks will be provided with additional information sent to registrants ahead of time.
