We had several students participated in the University of Montana Griz flag Football camp this past weekend. Learning skills and lessons from the Head Coach and his staff. Maybe some future Griz Women flag football stars.

Michaela Morris and Meredith Rieder represented Jefferson High School at the highest level this past weekend, joining other top athletes from the west side of the state. They made history by participating in the first-ever Montana All-Star Senior Girls Flag Football Games, held at Lockwood High School Stadium.

The West team went 3-1, beating the All-Star East team twice and the University of Montana, but losing to the University of Colorado Buffalos. Meredith Rieder had several receptions for the West, while Michaela Morris added an interception and several defensive stops.

Jefferson High School is proud of this amazing accomplishment by these two outstanding student athletes. I am grateful for the opportunity to coach them and proud of the fantastic job they did this weekend.
