You know that thing you've been thinking about doing?

The career change. The new direction.

The work that would actually feel more like you.

And then...

You're too busy.

It's too expensive.

You need more clarity.

Maybe next year.

Maybe when things calm down.

Maybe when you're more confident.

And sometimes the response isn't even overthinking.

It's, Hide!

Pull back. Avoid. Don't make the call. Don't apply. Don't tell anyone what you're really wanting.

I know that response myself.

But I don't believe we have to bulldoze through fear, overwhelm, or sensitivity.

And, I don't believe we have to let those responses make our decisions, either.

That's the heart of Radiant Work Circle.

We create a supportive space to:

Get clear.
Notice what's getting in the way.
Build the inner support to meet it.
And take action.

Not fearless action.

Courageous action.

I think of it as a sanctuary for courageous action - a place where you can exhale, tell the truth, gather yourself...

…and then go back out and do the thing.

Because sanctuary isn't meant to become another place to hide.

It's meant to help you become strong enough to step forward.

Have you ever talked yourself out of something before you even gave yourself a chance?

A client of mine once found what looked like the perfect job - the kind of role that would ultimately allow her to use her gifts in a way that felt deeply meaningful.

Then she went to the employer's website.

**6,000 visitors a day.**

“Oh, I'll never get through those numbers.”

And then came the other objections:

What if I get an interview? What if I decide I don't want to move?

Fear had suddenly become very convincing.

But none of those thoughts had anything to do with the actual next step:

Apply. You can always say no, but if you don't apply... right?

She did. And she got the job.

Years later, she's thriving in a role she loves.

I think about her story often because experienced professionals and leaders can be very good at talking ourselves out of what's possible.

Sometimes we don't need more information.

We need a place where someone can say:

“I see what's happening here. Don't let that voice make this decision for you.”

That's part of what we do in **Radiant Work Circle**.

We create the space to notice the fear - and then take the next brave step anyway.

Clarity is the beginning, not the whole journey.

You can know exactly what you want - and still not know how to move toward it.

Last week, a client got beautifully clear on a dream for his next work. You could feel the aliveness in it.

But clarity isn't the finish line.

Once you start moving toward something new, doubt shows up. Old beliefs. Practical fears. That's normal - sometimes the most useful information comes after you know what you want. It takes guts to even name it.

That's why I built the Radiant Work Circle to go beyond career clarity.

We'll name the dream, meet the blocks that arise, and use real tools to keep you moving — through what some call the "second summit."

What if the question won't leave you alone for a reason?

Some questions visit us once.

Others stay.

"What do I really want now?"

"Can I keep doing this for another ten years?"

"Is there another way to use what I've learned?"

I've learned not to rush these questions away.

Sometimes they aren't signs that something is wrong.

They're invitations to grow.

The path forward isn't usually about throwing everything away and starting over.

It's about listening carefully, honoring what's already been built, and discovering how your experience wants to evolve into its next expression.

That kind of change asks for courage.

It also asks for kindness toward yourself.

Sometimes the next step isn't blocked by fear.

It's blocked by an old story.

One thing I've noticed in both my own life and my coaching work is that every meaningful expansion tends to reveal something that still needs our attention.

A limiting belief.

An old fear.

A habit of staying small.

A part of us that learned long ago it wasn't safe to shine.

It can feel discouraging.

But I've come to see it differently.

The expansion didn't create the obstacle.

It simply revealed what was ready to heal.

That's actually hopeful.

Because once we can see the pattern, we can begin to work with it - gently, honestly, and without judgment.

Have you ever loved your work... and still known something needed to change?

This isn't about walking away from everything you've built.

It's about noticing when you've quietly outgrown the version of yourself who built it.

Many thoughtful women reach a point where the question isn't: "What should I do?"

It's: "How do I honor everything I've learned while making room for what's calling me next?"

I don't think that's a crisis. I think it's growth. Potentiality. Expansion.

Sometimes the next chapter asks us not to start over - but to bring more of ourselves into the work we've been preparing for all along.

This is a quick point on why it doesn't work (sorry, Byron Katie) to just flip negative thoughts. Especially if they're old, and repeat themselves. And if they raise your stress, depression, and/or anxiety.

There's gold in them - emotional intelligence rising through the muck... Emo Intel for short.

We often think of coping as problem-solving.

But many of life's biggest challenges aren't problems to solve.

They're realities to navigate.

Psychologists describe three forms of coping:
• Problem-focused coping (working with what's in our control)

• Emotion-focused coping (working with thoughts and feelings when life isn't in our control)

• Meaning-focused coping (the deeper beliefs and perspectives that help us make sense of life's challenges)

Lately I've found myself revisiting some long-held assumptions about how life works.

Not abandoning them. Expanding them. Because yes, there is that sense of knowing but really... the evidence isn't here yet, right?

As I've gotten older, I've become less attached to certainty and more interested in curiosity.

There's a stage of growth where amnesia can set in.

You've left the old ground behind.

But the new ground hasn't appeared yet.

You're no longer who you were.

You're not yet who you're becoming. You may wonder, wtf did I do?

I call it the faith spot.

The benefit-of-the-doubt zone.

The place where certainty isn't available, but forward movement still is.

Most people assume something is wrong when they get there.

Often, it's a sign they're exactly where they need to be.

Keep walking.

A client recently told me:

We live in a time of endless information.

Podcasts.
Books.
Courses.
Facebook posts of the 20 things to try when your dysregulated...
Tools.
Hacks.

But transformation doesn't happen because we know something.

It happens when we apply it.

Sometimes the next breakthrough isn't learning another tool.

It's remembering to use the one you already have.

You should see improvements if your tools are working for you.
If not, it could be time to expand your options.
