Hello Insta, it has been awhile! We hope you’re staying fit and healthy through these troubling times! As Boulder moves from Stay-at-Home to Safer-at-Home, we still won’t be meeting for any club functions, including workouts and long runs. However, do know that we are monitoring the situation and will resume group functions when the law allows. Until then, keep up the virtual racing, social distancing, training hard (or taking a training break if you need it!), and keeping in touch with loved ones. Hopefully we’ll see you sooner than later!

Not to be forgotten amongst the Olympic Trials hysteria, we also have two incredible athletes competing at the Pan American Cross Country Championships in and !

David grew up in northwest Indiana and attended the University of Southern Indiana for five semesters and then transferred to Western State College for five semesters, where he graduated with a degree in environmental studies. He has been with BTC for four years and has qualified for US track nationals each year. He currently works at and spends his free time hiking with his wife and dog and enjoying the surplus of beer that Colorado has to offer. He loves to do any workout on the track and absolutely hates the four mile uphill tempo on Flagstaff Mountain. He likes to have a burger and beer the night before the race and is looking forward to representing the club and the United States!

Carrie grew up in Oakland, CA and attended CU Boulder, where she ran track and XC. She has been with BTC for two years and is a full time teacher at a local school in Boulder. When she isn’t teaching or running, she loves to explore the mountains with her dog Scout and go fly fishing in high altitude lakes and streams on the weekends. Her favorite workout is a tie between 1ks and 400s on the track and has a love/hate relationship with hills. She especially loves the peanut butter brownie ice cream from , but will eat anything with chocolate and peanut butter. Also, she hopes that Pan Am XC will be cold and muddy!

Best of luck tomorrow in Victoria, BC!
