I finally got the courage to hike back to where I missed that first bull after glassing this guy up in the morning. After 2+ miles and up 1600 feet in elevation I doubt this guy in his bed. 160 yard shot and didn’t go farther than 10 feet from where he was bedded. I did the easy part, but my awesome followers came through when the real work begun. .hunters put me in contact with long time follower (this kid is a absolute stud!!) to help me get this guy out. Big thanks to you guys!

Hunting is full of highs and lows. Pushing for new challenges and doing hard things that few will ever have the chance of experiencing often leads to some heartbreak. Still stick to my stomach.
