The show is over and we had a good time, I will post some pics in the next few days. Now is the time for a little story, it's well worth the read and explains the pictures I posted.
When we do an event, we really enjoy paying extra attention to the kids that come by our booth with their parents. We try to make enough stickers, posters and other items to give away, and on rare occasions we will let them get on the bike so their parents can take pictures.
Today, a father and his daughter stopped by the booth so naturally I asked the little girl if she wanted a sticker. The little one smiled, held out her hand and shook her head up and down. So I pulled out three owl head stickers and told her we made special pink ones just for her. Dad thanks me, I say goodbye to my new little friend and that's the last I will ever hear about them, or so I thought.
Now you would think a little one, who is maybe 4 years old at best, would lose interest in a couple stickers by the time she was getting buckled in the car seat in the back of her daddy's car. As soon as he closed the door, my new buddy decided to decorate her space in the car with a pretty pink Brutus owl head sticker dead center in the side window. Evidently dad saw the sticker, came back around and opened the door to take the sticker off her window with no success. In defeat he closed the door and left her space decorated with a new pink sticker.
I only know of this because two of my family members happened to be parked next to them while all this took place. Thank you Wendy and Wyatt for the picture and the story. To the daddy with a pink sticker on his window, if you ever happen to read this....Sorry Bro :)
