🏁🏁🏁 Parked it in Victory Lane at Thunder Mountain Speedway tonight!!! 🏁🏁🏁

After a complete restart at the beginning of the feature, Tucker went from starting P3 to P1 by the time he got to the first corner, and he CHECKED OUT, leading all 12 laps with almost a full straightaway lead. Way to go, Tuckman!!!

🏁🏁 2025 Season Recap 🏁🏁

Tucker had a good third season in his Tobias Jr. Slingshot, racing a total of 14 nights, with 7 top 5’s, and ending his season at Thunder Mountain Speedway with a full sweep winning his heat and parking it in Victory Lane for his first ever feature win! He led every lap of both races on Saturday night.

Highlights:
🏁 Runner-up in points at Thunder Mountain Speedway, racing 6 nights total.
🏁 Three-way tie for 3rd in points at Nodak Speedway, racing 7 nights total.
🏁 Ran for the first time this summer at Dacotah Speedway.

Last night we celebrated the 2024 season at the Nodak Speedway Year End Banquet. Tucker picked up 5th Overall and also received the Most Improved Driver.

Today was our final race day of the year. Indoors. The track was fast and Tucker had to relearn a small track. We learned tons about the car again for setup. Felt all the highs and lows that come with wheeling a racecar, including thinking we were done with a bent LF axle in the B Main. But thanks to help of other dads, we thrashed and got a new axle into the car before the A Main. Tucker has made leaps and bounds this year with his driving, and we have all had a blast. Might take a few days off before we tear into the car for 2025!

We may still be recovering from the Motor Magic triple header at Nodak Speedway last weekend, but we are packing up to head north today and tomorrow. Double header at Thunder Mountain Speedway! The video is from Tucker’s heat race on Saturday where he learned a valuable lesson on balancing anticipating the restarts but not jumping a restart. We can explain it to him 100 times, and it’s one of those things you won’t understand until it happens to you. He was thoroughly pi**ed off, but didn’t let that bring him down the rest of the weekend.
