Our Beantown team had a decent day in Boston. Dropped a morning decision 1-0 to Boston Eagles. Bush was solid in Net.

In game 2 the girls were down early 2-0 and 3-1 but found their games and rallied with 4 straight goals in the second half to defeat the Boston Bobcats 5-3.

Scoring for SHA were Butters, Davies, Dobson, Canos and Kehl.

Next up for the girls is the Ontario Hounds at 1:40pm.

Some photos from our Sniper Camp that is starting Day 4 this morning.

The camp is in full swing and SOLD OUT for the second straight year.

Yesterday, all of our junior instructors were treated to a special surprise by Hockey Wolf as they were each presented with Bauer Nexus sticks.

Hockey Wolf is the new pro shop located in both Lynnwood Ice Center and Olympicview Arena. The Seattle Hockey Academy is proud to endorse Hockey Wolf for all your hockey needs.

Our snipers have already substantial improvement since Day 1 and have added so many weapons to their arsenal.

Camp winds up tomorrow and then coaches Jeff Wollschlager and Mike Butters prepare for the 3rd annual Butters Boot Camp, which is is filling up fast.

S.H.A.P.E. had a special guest speaker and coach tonight.

Goaltending coach and wellness expert, Zach Sikich, was on hand tonight to share his on ice goaltending knowledge with Ben Fredell and Andy Vlaha. He also gave an inspiring talk about wellness and nutrition as it relates to hockey players.

Zach is in town as his ProHybrid Goaltending Camp is taking place this week in conjunction with Seattle Hockey Academy's own Sniper Tech Camp.

The BC Quest for the Cup tournament was the last tournament of the summer for the Seattle Hockey Academy and the 2005s did not disappoint as they captured the tournament banner with a 3-2 victory.

The SHA 2005s cruised through the tournament with an unblemished record and despite the close score, made short work of their opponents in dominating fashion. The team was coached by SHA Senior Partner, Dan Matheson. "The boys kept their foot on the gas the entire weekend and were rewarded for it," said Matheson, who will serve SJHA as one of the coaches of their 14U A1 team this winter. "They all played well and they can go into the summer break on a high note."

Next up for the Academy is the S.H.A.P.E. Elite training sessions, which begin in late June. Sniper Tech Camp, which gets going in early July is another program that will be put on by SHA.
