Edith De Leija is officially headed to Boston.

A member of the Mexico Women’s National Baseball Team, has been a key contributor to the growth of women’s baseball in Mexico as part of the first Mexican team to qualify for the Women’s Baseball World Cup.

She’s known for her versatility and team-first approach, and we can’t wait to see her take the field for Boston.

A rising talent who has built a reputation for resilience and versatility, is a lifelong baller. From playing with the boys in Little League and high school, to becoming the first woman to commit Rosemont College’s baseball program, she’s always found a path to keep playing.

The next step on that path? Professional baseball player for Boston in the WPBL.
