Update on the progress of True Fitness South Boston:

For starters, we want to thank all of you for sticking with us as we have undergone the process of moving locations and building a great new facility for our members. Trust me, we understand and share your frustration that the new location has taken longer than expected. Just know that we’ve done everything in our power to get open as quickly as possible while also keeping our promise to provide you all with the best gym in South Boston.

Now, for the good news! There is a light at the end of the tunnel. The flooring is being installed throughout the facility this week. The equipment is now CONFIRMED as being delivered in mid-December. Once it is in place, we will just need to city to give us the final green light and we will open the doors.

While we tried our hardest to get open for September, it has become increasingly clear over the last few weeks that opening in that time frame is not something that will be possible. We ordered all new equipment for the A Street location, as promised, but supply chain issues are slowing down the delivery process. The new equipment will be delivered in November. As soon as the equipment is in place, we will open our doors.

While we are equally disappointed that the gym is not yet ready to be open, we are putting the quality of the new facility above all else. Swipe for some pictures of work we have gotten completed on the bathrooms and other photos of the space.
