CSE-Boston This system will supply you with skills needed to protect and defend yourself from all types of attackers. This is the “real deal”.

Developed in the Philippines, Combat Serrada Escrima (CSE) is a fighting and self-defense system designed for everyone: male, female, big, small, it doesn’t matter. It is not a traditional form of martial arts with uniforms and rituals. CSE is very easy to learn and will make even the slowest person move and react with incredible speed. You will learn how to fight with and against sticks, knives a

nd empty hands all in one system. We put special emphasis on knife fighting skills only because more and more criminals are using them to commit crimes. It is essential that you are familiar with edged weapons and how they are used in order to defend against them. This is not an “empowerment” system or a “cardio self-defense” class. We will teach you how to use escalated force: from restraint and control to devastating ways of incapacitating your opponent. Not only will you learn the techniques, but you will also learn how they work and the principals behind them. You will eventually be able to create your own techniques! Throws, joint locking, and chokes are all taught in a manner so you will be able to apply them instinctively. The perfect compliment to any other form of martial arts, Combat Serrada Escrima can also be learned independently, as it is a complete system in itself.

CSE Boston class cancelled today due to inclement weather. We don't want anyone to be on the roads unnecessarily. If you'd like to stay longer on Saturday, we are open to extending class to make up for today. Please be safe, stay warm, and don't over exert yourselves shoveling snow. Any questions? I know we just changed the Thursday classes to Wednesdays, but due to a scheduling conflict, we need to change it back to Thursdays for the fall. Classes are Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays. We apologize if this causes any inconvenience.

Hey guys!

So it seems that having class on Wednesdays works out better for many of the students so we have decided to change the schedule.

Classes are as follows:

Mondays 7pm to 9pm
Wednesdays 7pm to 9pm
Saturdays 10am to 1pm

Hopefully, this schedule works out for more people as well.
