Congratulations to Cycle-Smart athlete Cormac Nagle (Cormac Nagle Cycling) on his first UCI win at the final stage of La Ronde Des Vallées, securing the mountains and sprint jerseys and 4th overall in the process. 🇫🇷

Cormac’s coach, Adam Myerson said, “Honestly, it’s just a privilege to get to work with a rider like Cormac. He’s a model student of cycling and does all the work I ask him to with a passion and persistence you can’t really teach. It’s great to see all that hard work paying off.”

For many of us, CX season is imminent. How many CX prep boxes can you check? ✅

🟩 Practicing dismounts, remounts and barriers.
🟩 Running 1-2x a week.
🟩 Reviewing equipment - checking for wear and tear, tubulars glued, etc.
🟩 First draft of your race schedule. When are you trying to go fast, and when can you rest?
🟩 Cyclocross specific bodywork and strength.
🟩 Goal-setting for the upcoming season.

Training races are like a dress rehearsal for the big show. They’re an excellent way to see how your body, bike, and process are performing without added pressure. We recommend that our athletes add training races to their schedule if they are looking to add intensity in a group setting, meet new members of the community, and simulate a race environment ahead of the season!

Our friends at morethanracingcx and JAM Fund Cycling Team are hosting the Vineyard ‘Cross Race Series every Wednesday from Aug 26 - Sep 23. We’ll be seeing you there! 💪

Thank you to everyone who attended the 25th Annual . It’s always special to see so many people with a passion for the sport in the same place working towards the same goals.

Continuing our coach announcements is Jordan Villella. Jordan has been a coach at Cycle-Smart for 10 years; he is our resident gear expert and no doubt the smiliest coach at camp!

At , we have a dedicated group for our 13-and-under athletes. The cover the same skills as the adult groups but with different pacing and a lot more energy. As a father of two, Jordan has stepped up to lead our junior group at camp, which is no easy task!
