I had a glitch with one of my service providers today and somehow they had double charged me AND undercharged me at the same time 😩 so when I called, I was already frustrated.

The customer service rep answered and said:

“My name is Grace.”

Baby… immediately my attitude shifted because how am I supposed to be mad at somebody named Grace? 😂💜

I stayed on the phone with her for about 45 minutes while driving to my destination and she helped me resolve MULTIPLE issues. Even the things I said I’d handle later, she kept saying:

“No, let’s take care of it now.”
“Nothing for you to worry about.”

Whew.

That thing ministered to me because that’s really how Grace moves spiritually too.

Grace covers.
Grace helps.
Grace reassures.
Grace says, “I got you.”
Grace says, “You don’t have to carry this alone.”

And honestly? By the end of the call, I was in a BETTER position than I would’ve been if I had tried to handle it on my own.

That’ll preach. 👏🏾

Today, give yourself grace.
And as you encounter others, give them grace too.

Everybody is carrying something.

Now wisdom and grace belong together 😂 so don’t hear what I’m not saying… but grace still covers. 💜

And as I’m posting this, I’m at a political business conference while hubby is facilitating a mastermind workshop in Newport News and all I can think is:

We are covered by Grace and locked into purpose. 💜

So this is your reminder today:
You have NOTHING to worry about.

Y’all!!!! Today my Princess is 28! Like….What!? How did she become one of my little friends? Because she is absolutely the best friend and daughter. This has to be in April fools joke right!? 28 WHERE!? 👀

No, but seriously! Happy birthday to one of my favorite humans on the planet! Zione, I cannot imagine my life without you. You are by far one of the best things that ever happened to me. I’m proud to be your mom. I’m proud of who you are and I’m proud of who you are becoming. You are a natural born leader with much work to do and you are doing it. You could not have been any more beautiful if I had a hand picked you from heaven myself, my favorite flower, my personal ray of sunlight and moon glow. I love you with everything in me happy birthday Queen!! 

Prayer: may everything you touched be blessed; may every day ahead be better than the ones that you’ve already seen; May God continue to show himself to be real in your life and all your heart desires come true because every one of them aligns with God‘s best for you! This weekend someone I love dearly lost someone they love deeply…
and it was sudden, heartbreaking, and honestly… it shook me (too).

My heart has been heavy for them.
Because grief like that?
It feels unreal.
Unfair.
And it leaves a silence that no words can really fill.

I’ve been praying nonstop because I wish I could just pull up. That’s my love language.
Showing up.
Holding space.
Being physically present.

But this week God is reminding me that sometimes the first ‘pull up’ has to be in the spirit before I can get there in the natural.
And that He loves them even more than I do.

He comforts deeper.
He holds stronger.
He sits in the sorrow with a steadiness humans just can’t replicate.

I’m learning that my job is to stand in the gap, not stand in God’s place.

Moments like this remind me of something tender and real:

Life is a v***r.
It’s fragile.
It’s unpredictable.
And the people we love (as wonderful as they are) can’t always be our source of peace or joy.

Not because they don’t want to be…
but because grief, distance, humanity
it all reminds us of our limits.

That truth doesn’t make the pain easier.
But it does make the Presence of God more necessary.

So in my own moments whether it’s grief, stress, confusion, or even tension in my marriage. I’ve had to anchor myself the same way:

By turning on worship when my emotions get loud.

By opening my Bible when my mind feels heavy.

By stepping outside and breathing in creation when I need to feel held.

Because even when everything changes…
He doesn’t.
‘Lo, I am with you always.’

And right now, that’s the comfort I’m asking God to wrap around every person hurting today… especially the ones I love.”

📱 My phone USED to scream “Storage Full.”
I finally cleared space, bought an external drive, and y’all… the light started lighting! ☀️✨
Hubby said, “You finally got room for me to take some pictures!” 🥰

And that hit me…when we’re full of old stuff… old expectations, old memories, old versions of ourselves… there’s no room for the new downloads God wants to release.

So yes, y’all gon’ get these pictures! Because when you make room, God lets you shine in ways you didn’t even plan. 💜

FEAR NOT: While the world celebrates fear today, I’m celebrating faith.

One of the scariest things I ever faced wasn’t Halloween… it was hearing “you have breast cancer” at 38.
Fear feeds illness. Faith starves it.
I chose to do it scared, but I did it with faith — and God met me every step of the way.
I don’t just share my story in October, because my healing shows up in everything I teach, post, and pray.
