As we recognize the 25th anniversary of 9/11 and honor the heroes and lives lost, we remember one of our own, Tom McGuinness ‘81.

Tom. a native of Burlington, MA, swam for our program and went on the serve in the Navy before becoming a pilot for American Airlines. Tom was the co-pilot and first officer on Flight 11, which struck the north tower. Our thoughts go out to all those who hold Tom close in their hearts.

Mahathi was a CIF state qualifier at Sam Ramon Valley High School and trained with California Diving Academy, where she qualified for Junior Nationals.

Another member of our incoming class is a 2x All-American from Upper Dublin Swimming & Diving and Upper Dublin Aquatic Club, Maddie Shapiro‼️

She was a 4x PIAA state finalist and was part of a state record 200 medley relay.

Next up in our newcomer intros is Emma Rudowaky from Minnetonka, Minnesota, and Benilde-St. Margaret's School‼️

Emma swam for Aquajets Swim Team and was a Junior National qualifier and a state champion in the 500 freestyle. She placed 6th at NCSAs and represented 🇺🇸 at the 2026 AP Race International in London.

We’re excited to have Hannah Gurgel, a 200 free All-American, join our program! She swam 8 top-3 finishes in individual state events during her career at Canton High School in Michigan and was this year’s Ultras state champion in the 200 fly.

Heading into the weekend with another newcomer intro!

Proud to welcome Patrick Curran, a Minnesota state champion in the 100 back from Edina Boys Swim & Dive and Aquajets Swim Team‼️

He is part of multiple state-record relay titles and was a US Open qualifier in the 100 and 200 back.
