We had no idea this performance would mean so much today.
At our Aashka showcase, our kids took the stage and performed “Jolene” with all the personality, energy, and little bit of sass that only our Aashka kids can bring!
At the time, it was simply another special moment from our show. We never imagined that not long after, we would be saying goodbye to Dolly Parton.

Today, watching it feels completely different. So we’re sharing it again, this time as a little Aashka tribute to Dolly and the music she gave to so many generations.

Beautiful choreography by Ms. Alexis, and brought to life by these amazing little Aashka stars.

Thank you for the music, Dolly. “Jolene” will always have a little piece of Aashka in it now.

STARBOUND FOXWOODS NATIONALS 2026 RECAP ✅

Here’s what went down during our super fun week in Connecticut:

1️⃣ TOP OVERALL WINNERS 🏆: Elite gold in teen intermediate large group and junior competitive duet/trio, high gold in teen intermediate small group
2️⃣ IMPROV BATTLE CHAMPION 🌟: Ronayah tied for improv battle champion, defending her title from Sturbridge regionals!
3️⃣ LAMAR UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP 🎓: We were awarded the Lamar University Friends of the Arts Scholarship to give to one of our dancers!

It’s always a good time at Starbound National Talent Comp! We’ll see you next season 😉
