🇺🇸❤️ Yesterday was an Incredible Day at the 3rd Annual Sweat For A Vet 5K!❤️🇺🇸

Yesterday was truly a day filled with gratitude, inspiration, and purpose.

It was an honor to be part of the 3rd Annual Sweat For A Vet 5K and have the opportunity to share the mission of Give2Those Vest Up 4 The Fallen with so many amazing people in which it was well receive.Events like these remind us that when a community comes together, incredible things can happen in support of our veterans, military families, first responders, and the families of our fallen heroes.

I would like to extend my deepest appreciation to Jim, his crew and all the volunteers and to the Sons Of The American Legion Squadron 178 - Murrells Inlet, SC for not only allowing us to participate in this outstanding event but also for the unexpected honor of presenting our organization with a *$500 donation*. Your generosity and belief in our mission mean more than words can express.

The American Legion family has been a tremendous supporter of our organization throughout the years. From welcoming us during the Stride & Ride Relay, providing meals and places to camp along our journey, to helping us raise funds for Plaques of Honor and supporting countless initiatives that keep the memories of our fallen alive, you have continually stood beside us.

Your support has helped us continue our mission of ensuring that the sacrifices made by our nation's heroes are never forgotten. Every donation, every volunteer, every encouraging word, and every act of kindness helps us carry their stories forward.

As Scripture reminds us:

“Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ." — Galatians 6:2

Yesterday was a beautiful example of people carrying the burdens of others and standing together for a cause greater than themselves.

To everyone who participated, volunteered, donated, and supported this event—thank you. Your efforts make a difference, and your commitment to honoring those who have served our nation is truly inspiring. I look forward to connecting with the people who I met, to include those from Massachusetts who would like to do more with Vest Up 4 The Fallen , as well as getting a Vest Up 4 The Fallen team to take part in this amazing event next year.

Calling our Carolina Vest Up Family 🇺🇸 Join Vest Up 4 The Fallen at the 3rd Annual Sweat For A Vet 5K! 🇺🇸 Vest Up 4 The Fallen is honored to be attending the 3rd Annual Sweat For A Vet 5K. hosted by the Sons of The American Legion Squadron 178 in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina.

This event is more than a race—it's an opportunity to come together as a community to support and honor those who have served our nation.

We invite all participants and supporters to stop by our table, learn about our mission.

We will also be giving away a special raffle basket, with every runner receiving a raffle ticket for a chance to win. Be sure to stop by our table before and after the race to enter and learn more about the thousands of heroes whose memories we carry forward each day.

At Vest Up 4 The Fallen, we believe that remembrance is an action. Every step taken, every mile run, and every effort made to support our veterans helps ensure their sacrifices are never forgotten.

We look forward to meeting everyone and sharing a morning dedicated to service, remembrance, and community.

Over the last 24 hours, something powerful haVest Up 4 The Falleno complete thJeff Paolinost Up 4 The Fallen MNick MahonyNikki HooveroDavid Somers by Jeff Paolino, Jennifer, Nick Mahon, Nikki Hoover, David Somers, and several others I’m unfortunately unable to tag. Every single step taken, every mile carried, was done with purpose.

This morning, being here inside the cemetery before sunrise gave me a moment to truly reflect. Standing in the silence of the early morning hours surrounded by heroes, untold stories, and lives cut far too short is something difficult to put into words. It’s humbling. It’s emotional. And it’s a reminder that Memorial Day is far more than a long weekend, BBQs, or store discounts.

These men and women gave everything. They no longer have the opportunity to stand beside their families, chase dreams, watch their children grow, or experience the freedoms so many of us wake up to every day without a second thought. Freedom is never guaranteed, and we are only one generation away from losing the very freedoms we enjoy today.

That is why Vest Up 4 The Fallen matters. It’s about remembrance. It’s about sacrifice. It’s about carrying the weight, even for a moment, for those who carried far more for all of us.

To every person who came out and pushed themselves physically and mentally in honor of the fallen — thank you. You showed what it means to remember, to respect, and to never forget.

Yesterday , we honor the fallen.
Today, we continue to remember their names and make sure their sacrifice is never forgotten. 🇺🇸

We thank CBS and Lev for coming out and giving this event the attention it deserves.

For so many involved, including myself, Memorial Day is far more than a holiday filled with barbecues and store sales — it is a time to honor, remember, and reflect on the sacrifices made by our nation’s fallen heroes.

To some… this may just look like a stack.
But to us… these are Heroes.

These are names that still deserve to be spoken.

Lives that still deserve to be honored.

Legacies that will NEVER fade.

At the conclusion of Vest Up 4 The Fallen, on Memorial Day, together we will stand united in remembrance of over 25 military heroes who gave everything for this country.

Through the Plaques of Honor Program by Give2Those.org, their names will continue to live on — not only today, but for generations to come.

Because remembrance matters.

Because sacrifice deserves recognition.

Because heroes should never be forgotten once the headlines fade.
