Looking at me now, you might not be able to tell, but I wasn’t always this confident.
In fact, I used to hate my body and couldn’t even fathom living the life I live now, where I get to celebrate my body every day. Where I get to craft my own career path doing something I love: inspiring others to believe in themselves.
11 years ago, I touched a pole for the first time. I’d love to say “and the rest is history…”
BUT that wouldn’t be the truth. ‼️ The truth is, I sucked at pole for a long time before I ever got “good” at it. I wasn’t confident in my ability to learn, therefore I didn’t learn new things easily. I got frustrated all the time because I equated one misstep as a complete and utter failure. I considered quitting pole altogether on a weekly basis.

Sometimes, it’s your situation, sometimes it’s your mindset. Sometimes, it’s just how we’ve been conditioned 🤷🏼♀️
