â¨Ditch routines for ritualsâ¨
Whatâs the difference?
The difference is in the way you think of the two.
Routines are mundane and feel like another thing to check off your to-do list.
Rituals are special to you, sacred in a sense.
Recently weâve felt like we are trying to gather our thoughts and get ready for the day as we rush to workout, make breakfast, and get out the door, which leads to us feeling a little all over the place!
The best way to build a new habit or ritual is one step at a time.
The goal is to get up earlier to enjoy some light movement, coffee, and journal. Today we got up 30 minutes earlier than we usually do and went for a walk around the park. Weâll continue to build on this practice every week until weâve reached a wake up time that works for us.
