These two photos are a testament to the power of proper coaching, recovery, and nutrition while training for a marathon and by extension any endurance event.
Photo 1 📸 Taken at the finish line of the Providence marathon in May 2022. While I did snag a BQ, the struggle bus 🚌 was real 🥵🫠 This picture perfectly captures the pain and exhaustion I felt for the final 6.2 miles of the race, that’s a loooong time to struggle for lol
Fast forward 11 months later to April 2023 at the finish line of the Boston Marathon and you can see the pure joy, strength, and feeling of accomplishment written all over my face. Even after being sidelined with a torn labrum and femoral stress fracture, I was able to make a strong return to run and grab a PB at Boston. 🏃🏻♀️💫
The secret? A dedicated run coach who emphasized the importance of rest and recovery 😴 preached fueling and nutrition like there was no tomorrow 🥙🍳🍚 and gave me the gudiance I needed throughout my training. Thank you and 💜💜
Being able to experience how effective having a run coach is is one of the many reasons I wanted to become one. With years of my own running experience and having learned so much from my own run coach and the courses I’ve gone through, I can’t wait to help you reach your running potential and cheer you on every step (literally) of the way 📣📣
