Faithful is He who calls you, and He will also bring it to pass. 1 Thessalonians 5:24. One of the most important things we can do as Christians is to pray according to our covenant al rights. Prayer is asserting earthly permission for heavenly interference. That permission is granted based on your legal position and rights. That’s why it is essential to study the Word of God and to know the rights He has granted you through His Word. If you are being held in bo***ge by an illegitimate force in your life, cry out to God. Pray to Him for deliverance by appealing to Him based on your covenantal rights. God has a legal obligation to respond to you because you have a legitimate agreement with Him found in His Word. Go through the Scriptures, read everything that relates to your stronghold, and pray it back to God. When you do that, prayer becomes an act of holding God accountable, in the right sense of the word, to what He holds Himself accountable to: His Word.

How much more will your Father who is in heaven give what is good to those who ask Him! Matthew 7:11. In Psalm 23:5, David writes, You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You have anointed my head with oil. David isn’t writing about an ordinary table. He’s talking about a feast-one that will be served for everyone to see, especially his enemies. Though at times we have doubted His goodness, He has anointed our heads with His oil of blessing and gladness.

O Lord, You are my God; I will exalt you, I will give thanks to Your name; for You have worked wonders, plans formed long ago, with perfect faithfulness. Isaiah 25:1. God is a planner. He knows exactly what is next on the agenda for our lives. Therefore, instead of looking at your life and seeing limitations, ask the Lord to help you see His possibilities. Never let your limitations limit you. When God looks at you, He only sees your potential and the unfolding of His marvelous plan. When the eyes of your heart are set on Christ, you will have all the hope you need to face today and tomorrow.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. Hebrews 13:8. Jesus hasn’t changed but we have. In our desire to obtain more, we are moving further away from the One who loves us with an everlasting love. You can’t tap into the wondrous desire for your life as long as you are hooked up to the noise of the world, but you certainly can with a quiet heart.

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. Matthew 5:8. When we feed our hearts whatever the world dishes out, we are at risk of spiritual disease. But when we focus our hearts on God’s Word and worship God with our thoughts and actions, He will keep our hearts pure and healthy. Only then will our hearts be capable of doing what they were meant to do-help us see God.

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied. Matthew 5:6. How do we hunger and thirst for righteousness? Through the passionate pursuit of God’s righteousness in our own lives-living in God’s will day in and day out. When we passionately pursue His will, other things become less important, and we turn away from distractions that do not contribute to that pursuit.

I can do all things through Him who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13. Paul wrote these words while confined in a Roman prison. The circumstances of your life may appear unbearable, but there is hope because Christ is aware of what your facing. He knows all about the bill due at the end of the month and your inability to pay it. He’s already aware of the doctor’s report that you must face even more treatment. Wherever your prison happens to be, God is in it with you. God has kept every one of His promises. Others may fail you, but He never will.

He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters. Psalm 23:2. When was the last time you felt frustrated, frightened or fearful? Did these feelings come as a result of something that seemed out of control? Remember, when something is out of your control, it is not out of God’s control. God’s got it. Trust Him. God often allows us to face great difficulties-not to hurt us or to make us feel as though we’ve been left without any hope, but in order to teach us to turn to Him and cry out for help. Are you a man or a woman who has a heart for God, or are you frantically chasing broken dreams and worldly desires? If you are always rushing and running, it’s time for you to stop and let go. Allow God to give you a cool drink of His eternal water. Then your heart will know peace.

The night is almost gone, and the day is near. Therefore let us lay aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. Romans 13:12. Without Christ, it doesn’t matter how much money people have or how good their jobs are. If they die without Christ, they die without life. Yet we still have to live in this world until Jesus returns, and while we’re here, we need to be salt and light in our culture, just as Jesus commanded. Ask yourself, Am I making anyone around me thirsty for Christ? Am I shining my light in the darkness? Or am I contributing to the darkness through my complacency?

Peter said, I do not possess silver and gold, but what I do have I give to you: In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene-walk! Acts 3:6. Many people resign themselves to their crippling circumstances rather than believing God for something better in life. That’s the mindset of those who don’t expect things to change in their lives. We all have bad days, but we don’t have to let them turn into a bad life. Do you know anyone like that? Is that you? Jesus disciples offered the lame man miraculous healing in both his body and mind. You too can move forward regardless of what you face in life when you fix your hope on Jesus.

Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us... Ephesians 3:20. Life is filled with expectations. Some of us wake up expecting the best in our workday or family life or health or finances. Others dread the day or, at best, never expect anything to change for the better. What are you expecting in life? There’s a good chance you’re going to get it. In other words, you often get what you expect out of life. Please know that God is still able to deliver you from low expectations. And that begins when you ask Him to help you start believing for something better in your life. The Word tells us that God is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. Expect it.
