Synergen Construction has officially started work on the haul road for the lake deepening project. To keep everyone safe, several trail areas and crossings are currently closed. All areas highlighted in red on the map below are the closed trails and areas.

Safety fencing is up around the closed zones—please respect the barriers and do not attempt to bypass them. Here is what you need to know to plan your next ride or hike:

Singletrack Access: Radio Waves, Baseline, Ridgeline, and all other singletrack trails in the south and east quadrants of the park cannot be accessed from Green Goblin. To get to them, take Soda Lake Loop to Mid Valley Pipeline, and access the singletrack from there.

Green Goblin: The Green Goblin Loop is cut short and will require a detour.

Soda Lake Loop: The crossing at Kennonwood Trace (formerly Winding Ridge Road) is closed. Because of this, Soda Lake Loop is temporarily an out-and-back trail, not a full loop. The north end of Kennonwood Trace is also closed.

The Good News: We hope to open these trails on weekends when the contractors are off-site.
