🦌 Is Your Ravin® Crossbow Ready for Hunting Season?

Your crossbow string and cables are wear items, and replacing them on schedule can help prevent costly repairs and keep your crossbow performing at its best.

Here are Ravin’s recommended replacement intervals:

🏹 Most Ravin crossbows: Replace the string and cables every 2 years or approximately every 400 shots, whichever comes first.

⚡ Ravin R500 & R470: Due to their higher speeds and increased performance, Ravin recommends replacing the string and cables every 2 years or every 200 shots, whichever comes first.

⚠️ Don’t ignore signs of wear. Have your crossbow inspected if you notice:
• Frayed or broken strands
• Serving separation or excessive wear
• Flat spots on the string
• Changes in accuracy or unusual noise

Regular string waxing (avoiding the center serving) and proper rail lubrication will also help maximize the life of your string.
