Wow! What a great meeting LOCO had tonight. We hit a ton of topics and, most importantly, voted in the new Co-Presidents! Please welcome LOCO’s new Co-Presidents: The Rainwater Brothers, Doug and Gary. An exciting year is in store with these two great guys at the helm. There will be plenty of upcoming activities for you to participate and be involved with. Rides, Time Trials, Dirt Crits, State series Race, work days (aka food and beverages), group events (aka food and beverages), family days, and many many more. You name it, we got it.
Some of the topics discussed tonight were: Stoner Trail- getting a lot of love as of late. Stay tuned for work days and get your bikes ready to ride. It’s a great location and available for all levels of riders. Lakeshore- working with local individuals as well as IMBA to resolve the situation. We have a few things in the works. Please be patient as a resolution is being worked out with the landowners. Monkey trail- Lots of bad arse dirt out there to ride. MARK YOUR CALENDAR for LOCO’S state series race at Monkey Trail on October 1, 2017. This will be your chance to have home court advantage. Take it and leave them crying in your dust.
LOCO is looking forward to a great year of mountain biking in Louisiana. Don’t miss out on being a part of all the trail loving, dirt playing, bike riding fun this year!

Lakeshore Trail is closed until further notice. There are numerous people and organizations working very hard toward a resolution to the current situation. It will take time. It will take patience. Please respect the owners of the property, LOCO and IMBA as we work to resolve this as soon as possible. Check here often for updates on this trail.
There are numerous other trails around that would love to have your bikes on them: Monkey Trail, Bodcau, Caney Lake, Lincoln Parish Park, Lake Kincaid, Tyler State Park, Lyndsey Park, Faulkner park, Iron Mountain, Cedar Glades....The list can go on for days.... They all have spectacular trails that you will greatly enjoy.

Yo, yo, yo! Tonight was the night. LOCO is gearing up for a Sweet '16. We rollin' with new people on the Officer and Board. There are a couple positions still open, so stay tuned on those.
This year will have some great events. We have one TT left in the series coming up on Valentines day. We all know your bikes are your sweethearts. So prove it.
As always, there will be a bad arse State Series Race LOCO style. I hear tell there might be some Dirt Crits and how about some family friendly rides and playin'. Ohh, and Im getting the feeling of some beginner and womens group riding. How about some get togethers where we just chillax. There will most definitely be food, oh yes, food food food. Hmmmm, its shaping up to be an rollin' good year.
