To My Kung Fu Students,
As I watch you train and grow up before my eyes. With sweat on your brow, determination in your eyes and heart. Unmatched courage in your steps—I’m reminded of a great truth from Scripture: “Run with endurance the race that is set before you” (Hebrews 12:1).
Your journey in kung fu is more than physical discipline; it is a lifelong reminder of endurance, focus, and faith.
Through the years, I’ve seen students grow into adults with families of their own, and they still remember their path—the challenges, the victories, the friendships, and the growth that shaped them. Achievements fade, medals tarnish, but what you become in the process lasts a lifetime.
Tsu once said, “A journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step.” And oh, what steps you have taken!
In life, we meet many people, but those who walk with you through the agony of training, the nervous energy of competition, and the long hours of practice become part of your story forever.
The skills you’ve gained, the discipline you’ve forged, and the courage you’ve discovered are more than trophies—they are life choices enbedded into your character. They whisper to you in hard moments: “You can do anything.” And God Himself strengthens that truth: “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength” (Philippians 4:13).
Parents, grandparents and siblings also observed and admired your dedication.
Thank you for allowing me to walk this journey with you. I’m honored by every step, every struggle, and every triumph we have shared.
Keep pressing forward. Your journey is shaping who you are—and who you will become.
With gratitude and great pride,
Love
Sifu Randy
