Powerboat Nationals coming back to downtown Shreveport-Bossier City Labor Day Weekend 2018! Racing action will be all day Saturday and Sunday, September 1 and 2nd and viewing is phenomenal from either the La Boardwalk or Riverfront Park. After the races; numerous bands will be performing from stages on both sides
Of the river and LSU versus Miami will be shown live from a huge screen on Sunday night. Bringing in the top championship; F1 and F2 boats competing for their national championships. New in 2018 we will also be bringing in jet ski racing along with special appearance from the world champion hydrofoil.

TODAY'S SCHEDULE: Join us at the Boardwalk at 12:30 as we announce the winners of this year's Louisiana Hydroflight Invitational. Powerboat race finals will be from noon until 2 p.m. If you view from the Louisiana Boardwalk you will be able to hear announcers.

HAPPY LABOR DAY! Spend your day along the Red River with us. Today's schedule starts with test and tune 8-10, Hydroflight finals from 10-12 and powerboat finals from noon to 4pm. Bring your boat out and beach it right above Margarittaville you have to launch from Arthur Teague and we had probably 40 boats out there today and probably same number yesterday I loved seeing the river used like it should be and all the businesses full all weekend long

Another great day for powerboat racing!!! 10-noon Hydroflight Invitational, Noon to 6pm Powerboat Racing, Live music 6pm with Zebb Rogers. Kids activities during the afternoon. Something for everyone!! Extra viewing location behind the Barnwell. Shuttle parking for $5 from behind the First United Methodist Church from 3 until 8 pm with iShuttle.

Anyone thinking about viewing from the "banks" along the river, please know you will be moved by the Sheriff's office. It's just not safe for people to be that close to the boats. They move at very high speeds. Please choose to watch from the Boardwalk or Sam's Town (21 & over).
